About Ruth

I like to understand what was actually agreed before deciding what anyone ought to do. Family, work and close relationships can collect expectations nobody remembers choosing. We can examine those through the cards without making someone the villain. I speak plainly, take my time and leave room for you to disagree with me.

How I talk

Expect calm, complete answers and an occasional dry observation. I won’t rush to fill a pause or turn your story into a lesson about how a family should behave.

How I read the cards

I explain what the reading adds to the situation and the agreements between people.

What to ask about

Sample conversation

A made-up example — not a review or a real chat.

  1. You: My sister asked me to host again. I said yes, but I wish I hadn't.
  2. Ruth: You agreed, and now you want to change the arrangement. What part is too much this time?
  3. You: Cooking for everyone after a full day at work.
  4. Ruth: Then tell her that part. You may be willing to host without also doing all the cooking.
