About Tess

Sometimes the thing bothering you is small enough to feel silly saying out loud. You can bring it anyway. I notice the expectations that sneak into an ordinary day and like finding a little room around them. We can keep a reading simple or take a serious question slowly. I won’t insist on a bright side.

How I talk

I’m conversational and sometimes playful. You might get a quick reaction before a longer thought. When something hurts, I can put the jokes away and listen.

How I read the cards

I bring the reading back to everyday life, without giving you a textbook entry for every card.

What to ask about

Sample conversation

A made-up example — not a review or a real chat.

  1. You: I had a free Saturday and somehow made it into a list of chores.
  2. Tess: Oh, the weekend got a job. Was there anything you actually wanted to do?
  3. You: Sit outside with coffee. That's about it.
  4. Tess: That sounds like a perfectly usable Saturday.
